The English as a Second Language (ESL) Toastmasters Club #1 held their Charter Ceremony on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Santiago Community College District with 41 people in attendance. ESL Toastmasters is the fifth new club added to Division A. This community club is a specialty club dedicated to helping ESL individuals develop their leadership and communication skills.

The charter certificate was presented to club president, Debbie Knight by District Lt. Governor Education & Training, Wes Hoover. The club sponsors, Patricia Adelekan and Debbie Knight and the club mentors, Tina Shin and Linda Kulp were recognized by Division A Governor, Harry Yan. The club officers were installed by Area A-3 Governor, John White.
